Trade Capture

Most testing begins with entering trades and Triangle provides an extensive set of capabilities:

Enter trades for over 60 toolsets, 100’s of instruments (and user-defined instruments).
Set and check any field, on any leg, of a deal, including tran info.
Manage trade life-cycle (validation, cancellation, one/two-step amendments, roll-over, buyout, etc).

This functionality can be used to test a range of common scenarios:

The correct operation of pre- and post-processing operation services.
Providing trade sets to use in simulation testing.
Check settlement desktop document creation (e.g. confirmation or invoice).

Trade capture capabilities can be combined with Triangle’s Dynamic Testing functionality to automatically generate tests to enter trades.

Simulations

The most common use of Triangle for Endur/Findur is in the testing of simulation results. Triangle provides steps to verify simulation results and generate meaningful reports of differences. For example:

Run ad hoc simulations using core and/or user-defined simulation results.
Run existing simulation definitions or batch simulations.
Export simulation results to a database for comparison and/or reporting.
Compare simulation results against expected results.
